Pre-SChool
Meru Brook School’s Preschool Program offers a vibrant and engaging environment for young learners aged 5-6. Our goal is to prepare children for the transition to primary education by focusing on holistic development through a play-based and interactive curriculum. We aim to cultivate a love of learning, enhance social and emotional skills, and build a strong foundation in early literacy and numeracy. Our program is designed to be both educational and fun, providing a well-rounded experience that supports each child's growth and readiness for future academic challenges.
Our preschool program features a structured daily schedule that balances educational activities with creative play. Each day starts with a welcoming routine, followed by engaging learning activities that focus on key developmental areas such as language, social skills, and cognitive abilities. The schedule includes snack time, story sessions, structured play, and time for free exploration. The curriculum integrates themes and topics that are relevant and interesting to young children, incorporating activities such as arts and crafts, music, and movement. Outdoor playtime is also included to promote physical development and social interaction. Health and safety are priorities, with established protocols and emergency procedures to ensure a secure environment. Parents are encouraged to participate through regular updates and involvement in school events. Enrollment information is straightforward, covering the application process and details on tuition and fees.
To enroll in our preschool program, children must be within the specified age range. Required documentation includes up-to-date immunization records and a recent health check-up report to ensure the child's health and safety. Parents must provide accurate emergency contact information and complete the necessary enrollment forms. These prerequisites help us create a safe and supportive environment for all children.
Our preschool program is supported by a team of qualified educators trained in early childhood education, with certifications in first aid and CPR. We offer a variety of educational resources, including age-appropriate books, educational toys, and learning tools that enhance the curriculum. Our facilities are designed to be safe, clean, and conducive to learning, featuring well-maintained indoor and outdoor play areas. We also ensure that health and safety measures are in place with the provision of sanitizers and first aid kits to maintain a healthy environment for children.
The preschool program begins with an orientation session for parents and children to meet the staff, explore the facilities, and understand the daily routines and expectations. On the first day, children are introduced gradually to the program to help them adjust smoothly. Staff provide ongoing support to ensure a comfortable transition, with regular updates on the child’s progress and open communication channels for parent feedback and inquiries. This supportive start sets the stage for a positive and enriching preschool experience.
